The BIRAC-BioNEST facility at CSIR-CFTRI gives food entrepreneurs a platform to innovate collaborate and graduate in their quest toward entrepreneurial success. The different programs are designed to cater to unique needs, thus providing start-ups for innovators in different phases of their entrepreneurial journey.

Startup‘s are free to choose any one of the programs
Floating / Virtual Incubatee‘s: This program basically tends to entrepreneurs who have physical offices elsewhere and want to use CFTRI institute pilot plant and analytical facilities

• Time Period: 3- 6 months
• The floating /virtual incubatee attendance will be monitored by BioNEST officials
• Numbers of visits by floating incubatee/ virtual incubatee are to be limited to 9 days in a month.
• Further additional days to be adjusted against the succeeding month, if the tenure is valid.
• Further, if more days are required, they should be ready to extend the tenure or to convert their status as full-time incubatees with additional payment as per the guidelines
• Common office facility along with other office resources will be made available
• Access to Pilot plant facilities and analytical facilities at a discounted rental basis only

APPLY AS A FLOATING INCUBATEE

Regular Incubatees: This program basically tends to entrepreneurs opting to utilise the infrastructure at BioNEST on a full-time basis

• Time Period: 6-24 months
• The regular attendance will be monitored by BioNEST officials
• Numbers of visits by floating incubatee/ virtual incubatee will limited to 5 ½ days in a week
• Further, if more days are required, they should be ready to extend the tenure or to convert their status as full-time incubated with additional payment as per the guidelines
• Common office facility along with other office resources will be made available
• Access to Pilot plant facilities and analytical facilities at discounted rental basis only
